These "Failsafe" brakes are spring applied and require air to retract the spring allowing the the disk to rotate freely.
Spring applied brakes are normally used for emergency-stopping and holding applications.
There are several "Failsafe" brakes available with a torque range from 100Nm to 6500Nm. The torque is dependent upon the disk diameter.
